How does buying on Licensgo work?
Choose your product, add it to your basket and complete the payment. Straight afterwards, you'll receive an email with your licence (product key, credentials or activation invitation, depending on the software), the official download link and step-by-step instructions. Delivery is almost always immediate, within a few minutes.
Do I need to create an account to buy?
No. You check out as a guest: all you need is a valid email address, where you'll receive your licence and receipt. Just make sure you type your email address correctly at checkout.
Can I buy as a company and get an invoice?
Yes. At checkout, select ‘Company’ and enter your company details (company name and, if you have one, your VAT number). You'll receive a full invoice, always by email. For more information, write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk
When and how do I receive the invoice?
The invoice is issued within 72 hours of purchase and delivered by email. Need a copy? Write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk with your order number.
Is the price a one-off payment or a subscription?
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all prices on the site are for a one-off payment, with no recurring costs or automatic renewals. Some products (such as Adobe Creative Cloud) are time-limited licences instead, clearly labelled with their duration.
I entered the wrong billing details — can I fix them?
Yes, as long as the invoice hasn't been issued yet. Write to us straight away at info@licensgo.co.uk with your order number and the correct details: we'll update the billing details before the invoice is issued (within 72 hours of purchase).
I'm buying multiple licences — do you offer volume pricing?
Yes. For bulk orders, company computer fleets or schools, we offer special terms and advance invoicing. Write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk with the products and quantities, and we'll prepare a tailored quote.

Delivery

Key delivery times and methods.

5 answers
How quickly do I receive the licence?
Delivery is automatic and almost immediate: in most cases the licence arrives within a few minutes of payment. In rare cases (anti-fraud checks or provisioning of some products) it may take up to 24 hours — either way, you'll receive an update by email.
I didn't receive the email with my licence: what should I do?
First check your spam or promotions folder and make sure you entered the right email address. If you see nothing within 30 minutes, write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk with your order number: we reply within a few working hours.
How is the licence delivered?
Everything is sent by email: there is no physical delivery. For most products (Microsoft Office, Windows, Visio, Project, servers and antivirus) you receive the product key together with the official download link. Adobe and Autodesk products are delivered differently — see the relevant questions below.
How do I receive Autodesk licences?
For Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Civil 3D, etc.) you receive the instructions by email for activating the licence directly on the official Autodesk website, using the email address from your order. The software is downloaded and redeemed at autodesk.com and includes future updates.
I entered the wrong email address on my order: what should I do?
No problem: write to us straight away at info@licensgo.co.uk from the new address, with your order number and the correct email address. We'll resend the licence to the right address as soon as possible.

Legality

Licence origin and legal validity.

5 answers
Are the licences you sell legal and genuine?
Yes. All our licences are genuine, guaranteed and traceable. The resale of software licences in digital format is fully compliant with European law (UsedSoft v Oracle ruling, C-128/11 of the EU Court of Justice), and our keys come from authorised distributors.
How can you offer perpetual licences at these prices?
Our perpetual licences come from the circular market for ESD licences: they originate from earlier versions, lawfully purchased and upgraded to the latest available version. It's a legal, sustainable model that lets us keep prices below the official list price.
Do the licences expire or have hidden costs?
Perpetual licences (most retail products) don't expire and have no extra costs: you pay once and they stay valid. Only subscription products (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud) have a fixed duration, always clearly stated on the product page.
Are updates included?
Yes. The security and feature updates released by the manufacturer for the version you purchased are automatic and included in the licence, at no extra cost.
Are some licences Educational (EDU)?
Some of our licences are Educational, but they are fully functional: they have no usage limitations and no watermarks on the work you produce. Where relevant, the licence type is stated on the product page.

OEM / Retail

Differences between OEM and Retail licences.

3 answers
What's the difference between an OEM and a Retail licence?
Retail is bought by the end user, is transferable to a new PC and generally includes more reinstallation rights. OEM is tied to the first hardware it's installed on and is not transferable. Both are genuine and receive official updates.
How do I know whether a licence is OEM or Retail?
We always state it on each product page, along with the number of supported devices. If you're unsure before buying, write to us — we'll help you pick the right version for your needs.
Can I transfer the licence to a new computer?
It depends on the licence type. Retail licences can be transferred to a new PC after you deactivate the previous one. OEM licences, on the other hand, stay tied to the original device. If you have any questions about activation, we're here to help.

Activation

How to install and activate your product.

9 answers
How do I activate the product after purchase?
Open the official download link you received by email, install the software and, when prompted to activate, enter the product key. For every licence we provide a specific step-by-step guide and, if you hit a snag, we'll help you in English.
Are the download and installation done from the official site?
Yes. The software is always downloaded from the manufacturer's official site (Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, etc.): it's the same genuine version, with no modifications. The email you receive contains all the correct direct links.
The key doesn't work: what can I do?
Write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk with a screenshot of the error: we reply within a few working hours and replace it free of charge.
I already have an Autodesk or Adobe account: can I use it?
Yes, provided the account has no trials or subscriptions already active for the same product. If you have a trial running, just wait for it to end or use a clean account. If in doubt, contact us before activating.
How do I access my Autodesk licence?
Activation is done through the email address you used for the purchase, where you receive the instructions to access the licence. If needed, you can give us a different email address for activation. The software is redeemed from the official Autodesk website and includes future updates.
Can I move the licence to another email address?
Yes. Send a request to info@licensgo.co.uk with your order number, your current email address and the new email address you want to transfer the licence to. We'll take care of the transfer.
How many devices can I use the licence on?
It depends on the product. Microsoft Office and Windows licences are generally for 1 device; some antivirus products, such as Norton 360 Deluxe, cover up to 5 devices. The exact number is always stated on each product page.
The software isn't compatible with my device: what should I do?
It's the customer's responsibility to check the system requirements before purchase — they're listed on the product page. If you do run into an incompatibility, write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk: as a goodwill gesture, we may exceptionally offer you a replacement product.
Do you have installation and activation guides?
Yes. Every licence includes a step-by-step guide in the delivery email, and you'll find detailed tutorials on our blog. For Office and Windows, activation usually takes a couple of minutes.

Payments

Accepted payment methods.

4 answers
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Is the payment secure?
Yes. All payments travel over a 256-bit SSL encrypted connection and are handled by certified providers. Your card details are never stored on our systems.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, all prices shown on the site include VAT. VAT-registered businesses can reclaim it using the invoice issued after purchase.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes. SEPA bank transfer is available and, for businesses, bank transfer with an invoice and payment in advance. In these cases the licence is delivered once the payment has been received. For details, write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk.

Refunds

Refunds, cancellation and guarantees.

4 answers
Can I request a refund?
Yes, in the cases provided for by law: you can exercise your right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, provided the licence has not been used or activated. For details, see our terms and conditions.
What does the 30-day money-back guarantee cover?
On top of your right to cancel, we offer a 30-day guarantee: if the licence doesn't work as expected and we can't fix it, we'll refund you in full. It's our promise that what you buy actually works. It does not affect your statutory rights.
Can I cancel the order after delivery?
The digital licence is delivered immediately: once it has been sent and used, the order can no longer be cancelled, in line with the rules on digital content. The 30-day money-back guarantee and the 14-day right to cancel (if the licence has not been used) still apply.
How do I request a refund?
Write to us at info@licensgo.co.uk with your order number and the reason for your request. We'll review your case and, if a refund is due, process it, usually within a few working days.
